Summary

 

We are looking for an organised and positive Talent and Bookings Manager who would have a primary focus on production resource and talent acquisition strategy and execution. You will understand the importance of finding the right talent for projects and be super organised, proactive/responsive, a team player and able to manage multiple projects. You will pride yourself in maintaining positive relationships across the industry to create opportunities for Squint/Opera. You will develop process and programmes to support Squint/Opera including internal development and ownership of the resource tools and management and external recruitment programmes. Main Responsibilities

  •   Supporting the Head of People and Head of Production by being responsible for all perm, contract and freelancer resourcing requirements ensuring all individuals are updated and aware of current and upcoming projects. This includes supporting with recruitment across our global offices, currently London and NYC.
  •  Run weekly resource stand ups with Production Management team
  •  Deep understanding our current perm talent base and specialisations, succession potential and key development themes to enable the booking of the most effective teams
  •  Deep understanding of our project work to enable to booking of the most effective teams for the project
  •   Manage the studio resource schedule, being aware of and facilitating any change requests, flagging and filling any gaps, firming up pencils and managing leave request administration and developing and implementing process for the teams to follow when resourcing projects
  •  Actively develop the existing pool of freelancers, ensuring a warm welcome and organising appropriate inductions including co-ordination of IT set up for both hardware, software and desk space. General induction (non IT) organisation for perm staff is supported by the studio administrator.
  •   Support the Production Director identifying and working with outsource partners, solidifying and maintaining strong and successful relationships
  •   Develop resourcing methodology and process and develop successful ways of sharing information easily across the business
  •  Further develop the starters and leavers process enhancing our candidate experience and integrating across systems including automation where possible
  •  Manage and organise the freelancer databases ensuring it is always up to date with contractual information, (for example, day rates, notice period. Sole trader, umbrella company or via a recruiter etc) and also internal feedback (projects they worked on, opinions on their work, would we hire again, strengths/weaknesses discovered)
  •  Formulate briefs for talent in consultation with the relevant project or studio team
  •    Liaise directly with freelancers and candidates as well as recruiters if necessary to brief them on requirements and forward portfolios on to the appropriate people.

SUMMARY

To support the Head of Bids and wider Business Development team.You will play a critical role in the coordination of new bidding opportunities. You will work closely alongside the Head of Bids to assess the opportunity and provide the details required including quoting.You will be organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills and be confident talking to stakeholders so to be able to get the information you need to complete your tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Gather all administrative documents for tenders.

PRODUCER 

Reporting to the Head of Production

SUMMARY

This role will involve project managing a broad range of projects from content to interactive software. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our clients including major international developers, architects, cultural institutions, visitor attractions and brands. The producer will be responsible for delivering large and small scale projects according to brief, timelines and budget managing both creative and technical teams in house and externally. It is essential that you have generalist animation experience and end to end producing experience. Due to the nature of our projects in the pipeline it is likely that you will have a background producing immersive or experiential content managing both creative and digital teams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspires a high performance culture and communicates a clear sense of direction and expectations clearly

SUMMARY

The Senior CG Artist is responsible for producing high quality CG shots and stills collaborating closely with the Creative Director, Producer and CG Teams. You will lead projects and mentor less experienced artists. Please note: 3DS Max knowledge a must.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working up shots and/ or stills on projects to achieve the high quality results that are true to the creative vision.
  • Working closely with producers to help estimate time for tasks and changes from clients
  • Owning your tasks within production from inception to delivery, responsible for the rendering of your output within expected render times

LEAD COMP ARTIST

Responsibilities:

  Leading Project teams in post production comprised of freelance or contract staff

  • Developing in-house process and workflow for the post-production team in conjunction with the CG Supervisor, Pipeline artists and Head of 3D
  • Collaborate with the CG Supervisor and senior artists to devise ways to improve quality of production output

Experience:

Reporting to the Head of Production

Your role will involve scoping, detailing and contracting qualified sales leads and you will be responsible for converting into confirmed projects with detailed scope and brief for the production team to execute. You will become the escalation point for the client during project production and be responsible for upselling and developing long-term relationships with our existing clients in order to grow revenue. You will also oversee and support the producer on the project and check in at key milestones. You are likely to have a production background and a thorough understanding of production process in a digitally driven creative business. To be successful, the right person needs to be driven, great with people, a competent writer, comfortable defining a strategic approach and developing winning proposals, a pro at coordinating and delivering pitch presentations, along with strong commercial acumen.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Sales

  • Assess and further detail qualified leads and briefs from sales development teams
  • Lead client workshops and meetings to define and contract (close) the opportunity resulting in a clearly defined and properly costed brief for the production team to execute

  • Deep understanding of material licensing in a media environment

  • Experience in working alongside Creative Directors to scope and develop creative responses in response to client requirements 
  • Ability to present those creative ideas independently and confidently to clients

Qualification/ Experience

  • Demonstrable experience (6+ Years) within Project Management in a media content production or creative agency environment.
  • Has a strong track record of success in their own-right with sales and revenue targets. 
  • Use of CRM systems

  • Microsoft Office Suite
