Summary

 

We are looking for an organised and positive Talent and Bookings Manager who would have a primary focus on production resource and talent acquisition strategy and execution. You will understand the importance of finding the right talent for projects and be super organised, proactive/responsive, a team player and able to manage multiple projects. You will pride yourself in maintaining positive relationships across the industry to create opportunities for Squint/Opera. You will develop process and programmes to support Squint/Opera including internal development and ownership of the resource tools and management and external recruitment programmes. Main Responsibilities

 

  • Supporting the Head of People and Head of Production by being responsible for all perm, contract and freelancer resourcing requirements ensuring all individuals are updated and aware of current and upcoming projects. This includes supporting recruitment across our global offices, currently London and NYC. 
  • Run weekly resource stand ups with Production Management team 
  • Deep understanding our current perm talent base and specialisations, succession potential and key development themes to enable the booking of the most effective teams
  • Deep understanding of our project work to enable to booking of the most effective teams for the project
  • Manage the studio resource schedule, being aware of and facilitating any change requests, flagging and filling any gaps, firming up pencils and managing leave request administration and developing and implementing  process for the teams to follow when resourcing projects
  • Actively develop the existing pool of freelancers, ensuring a warm welcome and organising appropriate inductions including co-ordination of IT set up for both hardware, software and desk space. General induction (non IT) organisation for perm staff is supported by the studio administrator.

SENIOR MOTION GRAPHIC ARTIST

To oversee all production work undertaken by the motion graphics team as a lead of projects, organising shots and tasks related to motion graphics to meet creative deliverables. To inform and update the MG team including any freelancers on latest developments and progress at Squint and in the wider visualisation community. To begin to establish standards for the MG production process. 

 

Main responsibilities 

 

  • Working up motion graphics on projects to achieve the high quality results and true to creative vision.

We are looking for an ambitious Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing and Business Development departments with campaigns and administrative duties. With studios in London and New York, you’ll have the opportunity to join a creative team and work on exciting international projects.

 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Update social media channels using brand-appropriate language, assets and messaging.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials. 
  • Assist with website updates when needed.
  • Update our video channels (Vimeo and YouTube) with pre-approved films and content.

PRODUCER 

Reporting to the Head of Production

SUMMARY

This role will involve project managing a broad range of projects from content to interactive software. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our clients including major international developers, architects, cultural institutions, visitor attractions and brands. The producer will be responsible for delivering large and small scale projects according to brief, timelines and budget managing both creative and technical teams in house and externally. It is essential that you have generalist animation experience and end to end producing experience. Due to the nature of our projects in the pipeline it is likely that you will have a background producing immersive or experiential content managing both creative and digital teams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspires a high performance culture and communicates a clear sense of direction and expectations clearly
  • Establishes strong client relations and is the central point of contact for designated projects, attending all client meetings to guide and manage production progress

The Senior CG Artist is responsible for producing high quality CG shots and stills collaborating closely with the Creative Director, Producer and CG Teams. You will lead projects and mentor less experienced artists. Please note: 3DS Max knowledge a must.

Responsibilities:

  Leading Project teams in post production comprised of freelance or contract staff

Reporting to the Head of Production

Your role will involve scoping, detailing and contracting qualified sales leads and you will be responsible for converting into confirmed projects with detailed scope and brief for the production team to execute. You will become the escalation point for the client during project production and be responsible for upselling and developing long-term relationships with our existing clients in order to grow revenue. You will also oversee and support the producer on the project and check in at key milestones. You are likely to have a production background and a thorough understanding of production process in a digitally driven creative business. To be successful, the right person needs to be driven, great with people, a competent writer, comfortable defining a strategic approach and developing winning proposals, a pro at coordinating and delivering pitch presentations, along with strong commercial acumen.

  • Assess and further detail qualified leads and briefs from sales development teams
