Being the link between artists and developers, with a background in both disciplines, the Technical Artist ensures integration between the artistic vision of a project and the technical development making it a reality

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with CG Supervisor and Digital Supervisor to successfully integrate design and programming aspects of projects in real time environments

DATA MANAGER & BUSINESS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Reporting to the Group Operations Director & CFO

 

SUMMARY

To support the continued growth of the business, we are looking to appoint a Business Systems Administrator and Data Manager into our Group Management team to be responsible for managing and enhancing the back-office systems that we are currently implementing including Netsuite (ERP), Openair (PSA) and a CRM (Currently in evaluation) as well as liaising with production pipeline, IT and users to consider further optimisation and to develop and enforce data policy.

This role will lead on the implementation of our PSA and CRM and optimisation of Netsuite ERP at the beginning of our journey working closely with finance and project management to configure and implement the new technologies and then take ownership and become subject-matter expert across the company. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of key systems within the business and in the future to identify, implement and manage other integrations or improvements.

We are seeking a full-time Full Stack Developer to join our digital team. This role will involve collaborating on software projects for high-profile UK and international clients in the museum and exhibition space.

Squint/Opera is a busy creative and production studio based in London. We have a talented team crafting extraordinary and unique work across many disciplines including interactive experiences, VR, AR and large scale multimedia.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customise and maintain a tech stack for museums and exhibition clients, including a content management system, media server, monitoring system, and analytics. Develop the stack further to support future media exhibits and large collections. 
  • Write clean, reliable code that scales and performs well. Integrate with 3rd party APIs when applicable. 
  • Implement a CI/CD platform for development, QA, and deployment.
  • Stay up to date on technologies/industry trends that improve product development and user experience. 
  • Collaborate with designers, producers, content developers, and other developers to deliver successful projects.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Knowledge and experience of web technologies and platforms, particularly Javascript frameworks and libraries. An exciting opportunity has become available at the Doodlebar and Testbed We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious self-starter with the ability to think creatively and have a positive approach to problem solving.

The objective of this role is to grow and deliver the events business at this flexible and creative venue, both reactively and proactively to retain and develop existing relationships and maximise new opportunities as well as plan and deliver events in the space and take an active role in marketing to generate new enquiries and increase footfall.

This is a standalone role with the fantastic chance to build on existing foundations and to create and execute a sales and events business plan for the venue based on the business strategy. This role will involve assisting senior producers to manage a broad range of projects from linear content to interactive software and immersive installations. There may be times where you will be responsible to a senior producer for the complete delivery of small scale projects according to brief, timelines and budget; managing both creative and technical teams in house and externally.

This role will involve project managing a range of exhibits for an international museum.  The exhibits include interactive installations, projection mapping, touchscreen applications, video edits and filmed interviews.
